Cleaning (Flood) Buckets Needed
You can help!
Holston Conference Early Response Teams are deploying to Johnson City District to assist with muck out/clean up of 80 homes. The number of homes affected is expected to grow as more assessments are completed.
The conference will also be delivering UMCOR Cleaning Buckets from their stockpile to assist with this clean up.They have asked for help from all districts in assembling Cleaning Buckets to replace those that are being used in our area.
If you are interested in helping, you can find the list and instructions below. Please deliver completed buckets to the District Office, 2615 S Roan Street, Suite 106, Johnson City (located in Cherokee UMC adjacent to Cokesbury). We are open Monday thru Thursday from 9:00 to 5:00 and Friday from 9:00 to 3:00.
PLEASE NOTE: At this time, only trained Early Response Teams should enter the flood area to work. We will notify you when additional volunteer teams are needed both at the camp and in homes.
