We welcome Kent Pugh to share our message today. Kent is the prison chaplain for Sullivan County jails. Kent serves through the Good News Jail & Prison Ministry, whose visions is to reach every inmate in the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ that they might become growing disciples. Good News serves 300,000 incarcerated men, women and youth daily in 22 states and 25 countries worldwide and more countries being added yearly. Its chaplains share the love of Christ to these inmates and staff, while facilitating the ministry of thousands of volunteers. Learn more about the ministry at http://www.goodnewsjail.org.
We invite you to give a special offering today to support Kent’s ministry with inmates. You can make a check payable to Bluff City UMC and we will pass along all of it to Kent. Write “Good News” in the memo line. You can also give by Pushpay as well, choosing Giving Type as Special Offering and in the Memo section writing “Good News.”
