 Vacation Bible School  begins tomorrow, July 18 in the Sanctuary at 9:30 AM.  If you haven’t registered, you can get a form from the church office , on the table in the communications area or from Lelia Perry. You can also register online by going to website.  We are going surfing, and learning about God’s amazing love. We will gather at 9:30 each morning and then the children will rotate through workshops. If you are interested in helping, please see Lelia Perry. You don’t want to miss out!  Kids, tell all your friends!  We are going to have a great time!

The CHOIR will be on summer break from July 18 through August 20.

National Night Out—August 2, 2016—We are invited to join Piney Flats United Methodist Church on Tuesday, August 2, from 6:00 pm for a FREE community celebration.  National Night Out is a community building campaign that promotes community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.  Come out and meet local police departments, fire departments, rescue squads and community agencies that are here to protect and help.  Bring a lawn chair and enjoy hot dogs provided by Piney Flats UMC, music presented by East High School Bluegrass Band, plus lots of fun and games.  For more information, contact Piney Flats UMC at 538-6937.

Good Samaritan Ministries is having a fundraiser with Buffalo Wild Wings during the months of June, July and August.  If you mention Good Sam Ministries when you pay your check, 10% of the amount will go to Good Samaritan Ministries of Johnson City.

Good Samaritan Ministries will be having their back to school picnic on July 31.  They are in need of school supplies (i.e., paper, backpacks, glue sticks, pens, pencils, etc.).   These  can be dropped off at the Johnson City location which is located in the old Johnson City Power board building at 100 North Roan Street.
