Our Homecoming/125th Anniversary celebration will be held next Sunday, November 25. Our goal is to have at least 125 people in worship that day, so please be praying for and inviting people to join us for this momentous occasion. There will be a turkey/ham dinner furnished by the church with green beans, sweet potato casserole, dressing and gravy. Anyone participating with additional side dishes and desserts would be very much appreciated. This is taking the place of our traditional Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner. Everyone is invited to attend so even if you are not bringing a dish or not please plan to come. The most important thing is that everyone show up. There will be an Open House at the Cox House from 2:00—4:00 p.m.
Don’t look now, but Christmas is almost here. Two special events to be aware of: December 8 is the Bluff City parade. We need some people to carry a banner and some walking and handing out candy. Also, on Sunday, December 16th, our children will be going to see “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” at Theatre Bristol. If you are interested, please see Jane Bellamy.
